Can I upgrade my existing phoneline to Switchboard?
Answer: Yes by diverting your existing number to the number issued to you on Switchboard Signup. Please note that if you divert your existing landline to one of our Switchboard FreePhone Numbers, then you will NOT incur diversion call costs from your Telco. However if you divert to any other of our product range you will incur diversion call costs from your TELCO.
Is Switchboard easy to configure?
Answer: Yes - All stages are Menu Driven, and are quite intuitive.
Can I record my own Greeting Messages?
Answer: Yes, you can do this by dialling into the system and recording them via Telephone or you can create a sound file on your PC and upload it.
How many different Options can I have when a caller rings my number?
Answer: You can choose up to 6 groups. For example "Press 1" for Sales through to "Press 6" to listen to information about our latest products.
Where can I divert call to?
Answer: You can divert calls to any Landline or Mobile around the world however certain numbers incur call charges. For example an 0870 number diverted to a UK landline incurs no diversion charges, however when diverted to a mobile call charges are incurred. Furthermore if the 0870 number is diverted to a landline outside the UK call charges are incurred, e.g. USA 5ppm. On the other hand if you divert an 07005 9 number to most landlines or mobiles around the world, no call charges are incurred. Full Rates are available Here
